Employers argue House health bill will increase taxes

Leaders in the House of Representatives debuted a health care reform bill they say would extend insurance coverage to 36 million Americans. Employers say the bill will hit them with higher taxes, while insurers argue the new public insurance option would put them out of business. The Congressional Budget Office estimates the bill will cost $1.055 trillion, all of which is offset by increasing taxes or cutting spending elsewhere.
