Facebook has simplified the language in its privacy policy, with more straightforward information on the process for removing a profile, the period of time that "backup copies" of user information is retained and details on the kinds of ads that might result from the use of the data. The new disclosures are part of Facebook's effort to supply ad clients with more details on conversions beyond whether a user chose to click and the resulting total number of clicks.
