House bill would adjust Medicare's physician payment system

Leaders of the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Energy and Commerce Committee formally introduced a bill that would create a new Medicare physician payment system and block a 21% cut in doctors' fees beginning in January. The move comes a week after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., failed to get enough votes to pass a similar measure.
