Minnesota district works toward goal of computers for all students

To meet its goal of having a computer in the hands of every student, a Minnesota school district has arranged a partnership -- believed to be the first of its kind in the state -- with two computer companies to provide students with discounts on equipment at online stores. Apple and Dell will also provide financing options for the students, the district's technology coordinator said. For students who cannot buy the equipment, the district is looking at providing students with district-owned laptops.
