Parent company of Gulfstream reports Q3 drop in profit

General Dynamics, the parent company of Gulfstream Aerospace, reported a nearly 10% drop in profit for the third quarter. Gulfstream halted production of its business jets for five weeks during the summer, and sales dropped 18% for the third quarter. General Dynamics also produces tanks, ships and other combat vehicles for the U.S. military.
