Study: TNF blockers for rheumatoid arthritis don't raise cancer risk

Swedish researchers found that infliximab and two other tumor necrosis factor inhibitors do not increase the overall risk of cancer in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Despite the finding, the study suggests that "continued vigilance" should be exercised with regard to the use of TNF blockers, the lead researcher said.
