Animals eat the strangest things

A recent contest sponsored by Veterinary Practice News magazine featured radiographs of animals with unusual foreign body ingestion, including an owner's false teeth, glue that molded to the animal's stomach shape and a guitar string. The winning entry, a dog who ingested nine billiard balls, was submitted by Bayshore Animal Hospital in Oregon. All the animals were successfully treated by veterinarians.
