Does classroom technology distract students?

While research shows some benefits to using smartphones and tablet computers in the classroom, some educators in the United Kingdom say they are concerned the technology could be a distraction. Now, experts say such attitudes could cause the country to fall behind other nations, such as India and France, because students do not have access to the same technology. To address the issue, the government is preparing a policy regarding technology in schools.
