AT&T backs PMA

AT&T joined Starbucks and Google in backing the Power Matters Alliance, a group working to create a common technology for charging wireless devices. The carrier plans to sell products based on the PMA standard in some markets. Starbucks will add charging outlets at some of its Boston-area locations.
