Marketing, sales alliance yields best lead generation, survey shows

More than two-thirds of marketers work with sales on lead-generation efforts, according to a BtoB survey. Those marketers working with sales were more likely than average to regard their efforts as "highly effective," with 8 of 10 respondents classifying their lead-generation that way. A lack of resources was cited as the greatest obstacle to further progress.
