Dental plans off to a slow start on N.H. insurance exchange

Six people have enrolled in a dental insurance plan through New Hampshire's Affordable Care Act marketplace, which is being run by the federal government. Northeast Delta Dental is the only carrier selling stand-alone dental plans on the state's public exchange. "Once they resolve the issues, we may see an uptick, but our marketing strategy really revolves around off-marketplace plans," said Jodie Hittle, Northeast Delta Dental's vice president of sales and marketing.
