Intensive, standard care show similar outcomes in diabetes

Data on screen-detected type 2 diabetes patients revealed those who received intensive therapy for hyperglycemia, hypertension and dyslipidemia did not show worse health status, well-being, quality of life or treatment satisfaction than those who had standard care. The findings appear in Diabetologia.
