Mondelez: snacking, combined brands key to growth

Consumer momentum toward snacking is not lessening, and Mondelez is taking note with products that combine brands. Sales of Mondelez's Marvellous Creations chocolate lines with popping candy inclusions already has sales of £41 million and the company is rolling out the Milka chocolate brand that contains inclusions from its other brands like Tuc and Oreo. "We have different brands for different parts of snacking. Our intention is to combine coffee and biscuits on shelf," said Maurizio Brusadelli, president, U.K. and Ireland, Mondelez Europe.
