Nestlé to relocate Illinois pizza business

Nestlé is moving its pizza production from Northbrook, Ill., to Solon, Ohio by mid-2014. John Carmichael will transfer from his post of deputy of Nestlé Zone Americas to become president of the pizza business on Jan. 1. The company purchased the DiGiorno, California Pizza Kitchen, Tombstone and Jack's pizza brands from Kraft in 2010 for $3.7 million. The pizza division also operates two plants in Wisconsin that it doesn't plan to move.
