Interactive education in medical facilities increases hand hygiene compliance by 8.5%, a study found. The study was conducted to boost hygiene among children in health care facilities and their visitors. The study used training aids and mobile learning technology to increase handwashing and found that people most often washed their hands after contact with bodily fluids.
