Tenn. airport is rebidding project after discovering fraudulent bonds

The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority in Tennessee is seeking another contractor to demolish an airport hotel after discovering that the surety bond backing the $485,000 low bid is one linked to fraudulent bond activity. Similar problematic bonds have emerged in other states and American Samoa.
