U.N. report cites more than 7M births to women under 18 worldwide

Despite the declining teen pregnancy rates across 54 countries, particularly developing countries, about 7.3 million girls younger than 18 years are giving birth every year, according to a United Nations Population Fund report released Wednesday. West and Central Africa recorded the highest number of pregnancies in the developing world, while the U.S. had the most teen pregnancies among developed countries.
