Educators, Lawmakers May Reconsider Cell-Phone Bans

Mobile telephony played a crucial role in connecting parents with their children during recent school shootings and after the Sept. 11 attacks, leading some administrators to flout state laws and allow students to carry cell phones on campus. Concerns have risen, though, over the fact that several students have been caught making false bomb threats with their mobile phones.
