Oregon business group aims to go small

The nonprofit Employers for Education Excellence is soliciting applications from large Oregon high schools interested in reorganizing into smaller schools of no more than 400 students. The group hopes that creating smaller learning communities will boost achievement and graduation rates, especially among poor and minority students.
