FDA OKs Allergan's glaucoma treatment

Allergan announced Wednesday that its Combigan eye drops have been approved by the FDA for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in people with glaucoma or high blood pressure of the eye. The drugmaker said Combigan, which combines Alphagan and timolol ophthalmic solution, will be available later this year.
