Mesa ordered to pay $80 million to Hawaiian Air

Hawaiian Airlines has won a ruling in its lawsuit against Mesa Air Group. The carrier, which had accused Mesa of misusing confidential information, was awarded $80 million for damages plus costs. Mesa officials say they will seek to overturn the ruling. Meanwhile, the parent of Hawaiian Airlines said yesterday its profits more than doubled in the third quarter.
