Safeway, Schnucks to use 'More Matters' logo on fruits, vegetables

Safeway and Schnucks will be the first U.S. grocers to use Produce for Better Health Foundation's "Fruits & Veggies-More Matters" logo on their frozen foods and canned produce, the foundation announced Tuesday. Several retailers have expressed a desire to include the logo on their product packaging, according to Bryant Wynes, PBH senior executive of retail marketing.
