Survey quantifies rate of EMR de-installations

About 19% of those responding to a survey by Boston's Medical Records Institute said they have de-installed or are currently rejecting EMRs. The trend generally is to downgrade to less costly and easier-to-use EMRs, but 2% of the survey respondents said they are returning to a paper-based system.
