Laptops cut paperwork on job sites

Laptops and tablet PCs have started to move out of the engineering office and now replace drawings and clipboards at construction sites across the country. The greater availability of high-speed Internet access and more durable computer design have made use at job sites easier and many find that it saves time and cuts paperwork. Some workers are tech savvy, but other field personnel find it difficult to adjust to the computers.
