Intel focuses m-health efforts on enabling coordinated care

Mobile health may be overhyped at the moment, says Eric Dishman, director of health innovation and policy at Intel. "[J]ust because there's 33,000 smartphone apps around about health and wellness and diabetes management, doesn’t mean people are using them," Dishman said. Intel is focusing on doctors, nurses and home health providers, including family members, to enable high-quality, coordinated care, Dishman said.
