Regulators offer some certainty with Dodd-Frank timeline

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission have missed numerous deadlines in their efforts to write and implement rules for the over-the-counter derivatives market as mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act. The missed deadlines have contributed to market uncertainty. In September, regulators offered a timeline for implementing new rules.
