Teacher co-authors book on learning to make mistakes

New York City high-school teacher Gary Rubinstein teamed with Mark Pett, a cartoonist and former teacher, to coauthor "The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes," a children's book that encourages students to try even if they fail at first. Rubinstein, who has found his students becoming more afraid to make mistakes as they get older, says he asks open-ended questions to encourage guessing in class.
