Study says consumers want more technology in restaurants

Most restaurant-goers expect to use technology to order food at restaurants more often over the next year, despite the fact that not many restaurants currently offer the technology, according to a study by Technomic. Consumers would most like to see tableside touchscreen devices for ordering and paying, tablet-based menus and loyalty programs that come with digital rewards, the study says.
