Beer growlers just first of many Mich. law changes

Michigan bars can sell growlers of beer thanks to the first of many liquor-law changes and proposals working their way around the state Legislature. Proposed laws would allow brewers to sell beer at more locations, increase the amount brewed and expand temporary liquor licenses. Last summer, the sale of certain wine at farmers markets was allowed, and other changes on the radar include the use of certain logoed glassware at bars and options for small startup microbrewers to self-distribute.
