Fracking to reduce Canada's oil, gas wells in 2014, group says

The Petroleum Services Association of Canada sees a slight drop in the number of oil and natural gas wells in Canada in 2014 compared with this year's figures. The expanded use of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling "is creating a trend to fewer wells overall," said Mark Salkeld, president and CEO of PSAC.
