Germany crippling Europe's recovery, U.S. Treasury says

The U.S. Treasury said Germany's export-driven policies are undercutting the economies of EU partners and slowing their recovery. Germany's "anemic pace of domestic demand growth and dependence on exports have hampered rebalancing" and created problems for other countries, particularly Spain, Portugal and Greece, the Treasury said in a report to Congress on exchange-rate policy.
