Healthy, plant-based diet should focus on greens, RD says

Greens are the basis for a healthy plant-based diet that also can include grains, beans, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, says registered dietitian George Eisman. Diets should have unrefined carbohydrates, Eisman says, but not cow's milk, and fruits and vegetables should have bright colors for the best nutrients.
