Inflammatory dietary pattern linked to depression, study says

A study in the journal Brain, Behavior and Immunity that included about 44,000 women and that spanned more than a decade found that an inflammatory dietary pattern, including consumption of refined grains, soft drinks and fatty meat, may be linked to depression. The study suggested eating a lot of carbs may increase inflammatory biomarkers in the blood.
