Israel grapples with spate of potentially damaging cyberattacks

Israel is reportedly facing an onslaught of cyberattacks directed at its government and infrastructure, with recent malware targeting senior officials and the nation's roadway system. In one recent incident, hackers used a Trojan horse program to shut down security cameras on a major toll road, leading to major congestion, and in May, officials said they disrupted a planned attack on the city of Haifa's water system.
