Kroger will expand through building and buying, CEO says

Kroger will look to expand its footprint by building stores, in addition to buying them, CEO David Dillon says. Dillon also says the company has been studying European models of home delivery, but he is hesitant to assume delivery would replace brick-and-mortar stores. "I think a large percentage of customers still like to get out and have that interaction with friends and neighbors as they walk through the store," he said.
