Nexus 5 with "KitKat" arrives from Google

Sprint and T-Mobile US confirmed plans to carry Google's new 5-inch Nexus 5 smartphone, which Google introduced Thursday along with Android 4.4, an operating system update known as "KitKat." Developed with LG Electronics, pricing for the latest Nexus model will cost $349 for the 16GB model, although Sprint said it will charge $150 with a signed service commitment. Google termed the phone its "slimmest and fastest" Nexus model to date and includes 4G support and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Among KitKat's new features is support for phones with just 512 megabytes of memory, a development that will enable the Nexus 5 to reach emerging markets.
