The proper management of hydraulic fracturing would ensure that health risks associated with the drilling technique are mitigated, according to a report from Public Health England. "Good well construction and maintenance is essential to reduce the risks of groundwater contamination," said John Harrison, director of PHE's Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards.
