Stephen King's "The Shining" sequel gets Web campaign of terror

A digital campaign for Stephen King's sequel to "The Shining" includes a microsite that shows what happened to young Danny Torrance. In the campaign from Domani Studios, a user can control a computer browser from a smartphone to mimic Danny's mind-control "shine" ability, and then the browser is co-opted by Danny, who hints at the plot and terror of the new book. The campaign is "uncharted territory" because it is "doing some things with the two screens that we'd never done before," said Domani Studios founder Jonathan Hills.
