Study raises questions about water use in supply chain

It takes 1.39 liters of water to make one liter of bottled water, according to a study from the International Bottled Water Association. While bottled water production uses less water than other packaged beverages, the study has promoted water-conservation activists to issue a call for all beverage-makers to include water use in the supply chain.
