Builders hesitantly turn to new synthetic products for versatility

Architects and contractors are starting to turn to cheaper, eco-friendly building materials for their future structures. These products, which can mimic stone, brick, wood or other natural materials, are more versatile than the products they imitate, but are still questioned by some builders who are uneasy about their lack of history.
