Dominick's workers OK new pact

Workers at the Safeway-owned Dominick's supermarket chain have approved a three-year labor contract, ending a standoff between the company and the Food and Commercial Workers union that saw Safeway threaten to sell the chain at one point. Company officials earlier said they would move to remodel the 99-store Chicago-area chain if the contract was approved.
