Vaccine improvement seen as likely focus of administration pandemic strategy

The flu pandemic strategy President George W. Bush plans to announce today is expected to stress steps for improved vaccine production along with incentives for more U.S. companies to get into the business of manufacturing vaccines. The plan also is likely to provide guidance on priorities for administering antiviral drugs such as Tamiflu and Relenza to vaccine production workers, medical personnel, police and other first responders.
