Ethanol oversupply stalls plant construction

The overabundance of corn-based ethanol and declining biofuel prices have prompted some companies to delay the construction of ethanol plants in the U.S. Companies including VeraSun Energy Corp., Alchem Ethanol and Poet, however, remain optimistic about continuing their construction and biofuel production plans in the future.
