Report lambastes U.S. handling of Mosul Dam in Iraq

The Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction has issued a report blasting the U.S. State Department and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for poor planning, oversight and administration of contracts to stabilize Mosul Dam. Dam experts around the world have voiced concern about the dam's vulnerability to catastrophic failure since the 2003 U.S. invasion.
