Genworth is keen to acquire wealth-management firms

Genworth Financial is interested in acquiring companies to enhance its presence in the wealth-management business. Genworth Chairman and CEO Michael Fraizer said the company is looking to bolster its competitiveness with advisers and their clients. However, Colin Devine, a stock analyst at Citigroup, said that Genworth is unlikely to quickly make a name for itself in wealth management.
