How school governments can use Facebook

Facebook is a useful tool for students, and especially student governments, a high-schooler writes in this blog post. His student government created a student-run Facebook account and "friended" classmates to spread the word about events like homecoming using Facebook's events application. The student writes that the school has seen greatly increased participation at events through the reach of the social-networking site.
