University of Maine grad student Soren Hansen met with overwhelming skepticism when he first proposed raising tropical saltwater fish eight years ago. A successful crop of 400 tomato clown fish changed naysayers' minds while spawning a new business for Hansen, who now raises tropical fish in captivity and sells them to pet stores across the country.
