New York's community boards are the target of new restaurant trade group

A push announced by New York bar owners and restaurateurs to establish a new trade association has its roots in the dining community's ongoing battles with the city's community boards, tough groups whose meetings often drag on and can reduce restaurant owners to tears. Some proprietors and would-be restaurant owners call the groups the business community's biggest stumbling block.
