Wilson acknowledges Allstate's pay overhaul upset some

Tom Wilson, chief executive officer at Allstate, said that the company's plan to change the way it calculates compensation for its agents has been upsetting to some. "When you change compensation programs, it creates concern amongst people who are subject to them," Mr. Wilson said. "And there are some people who are unhappy." The changes are intended to increase the effectiveness of the insurer's sales force.
