Veteran set to deliver petition to UNC-Chapel Hill

Iraqi war veteran Hayleigh Perez has gathered more than 145,000 signatures for a petition urging the University of North Carolina to change the way it manages student veterans. Perez, who says she was incorrectly designated as an out-of-state resident for tuition purposes, plans to deliver the petition this week and file suit in federal court.
